Maiden’s Prayer

Since the start of this year, I’ve resumed practicing the piano. My present practice song is “Maiden’s Prayer” in English. That was written by Badarzewska as the original name “Midlitwa dziewicy” in Polish in 1856. This melody is beautiful so it fascinates a lot of people in the world even now, of course me as well. In addition, the reason why I like playing the piano is that I love to imagine and sometimes interpret what the song means, and I also love to express my image and feeling with them.

“This song matches the present situation when many people are praying.” I always feel while practicing it. This song, like a lot of simmering stars, seems to lead us to our hopeful future.
